Civil Operator

With an increasing pipeline of civil and deconstruction projects, DEMEX is seeking an experienced Civil Operator to join our team. You’ll be operating a range of heavy machinery on high-impact sites, playing a critical role in the safe and efficient delivery of works across varied scopes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:  
• Operating civil plant machinery including excavators, dozers, graders, rollers and water trucks
• Completing daily pre-starts and maintaining machinery in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements
• Assisting with ground works and supporting project delivery teams on-site
• Maintaining safe work practices in line with WHS and environmental regulations
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and site teams

The ideal candidate will have:  
• Demonstrated experience in civil construction or demolition environments
• Final Trim and GPS experience (highly desirable)
• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Relevant tickets and licences, including Excavator, HR Licence & White Card
• The ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing site conditions.
