Demolition of the former Orange Base Hospital

DEMEX was engaged as the demolition contractor for Stage 3 of the Wagga Wagga Regional Referral Hospital Redevelopment Project. Demolition works included a number of historic buildings including the Old Hospital Building constructed in 1908 and the Robinson House Building.

DEMEX was engaged to conduct the demolition package of the Ipswich Central Redevelopment Project. The project included the demolition of a five storey carpark, portions of the heritage listed Murphy’s Pub, shopping centre, precast concrete tilt panels, PT concrete slabs throughout and an extensive strip out.

Demolition of decommissioned Collingwood Tin Processing Plant near Cooktown in north QLD

DEMEX was engaged as the demolition contractor for demolition of the Stapley Drive bridge passing over the Pacific Motorway (M1) on the Gold Coast. The demolition formed part of the major Pacific Highway upgrade works between Mudgeeraba and Varsity Lakes.

DEMEX was engaged to remove two 30 tonne generators from the C-17 Maintenance Facility at the RAAF base in Amberley.

There were several buildings on the site, which was formerly the offices of the Gold Coast City Council, including the main administration building with its unique landmark glass pyramid roof and a four storey office building, known as the “riverside centre”. DEMEX was engaged as the demolition contractor for the demolition of an abandoned bridge in Helensvale, on Queensland’s Gold Coast, to facilitate the construction of the new light rail network.

DEMEX was engaged as a subcontractor by Hutchinson Builders for works carried out at Australia Fair Shopping Centre in Southport on the Gold Coast.

DEMEX was engaged as the principal contractor for demolition of the seven storey Pacific Tower Building located in the heart of the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, Queensland. Demolition of the existing high-rise made way for the $111 million beachfront Northcliffe Residences.

DEMEX was engaged as the demolition contractor for the demolition of a pedestrian bridge in the busy Broadbeach shopping precinct adjacent to the Oasis Shopping Mall in Broadbeach, QLD.
