Following the relocation of Pickles Auctions to a new, location, DEMEX was engaged as principal contractor by property developer Aliro Group, to undertake the demolition, remediation, and civil works on this large industrial site spanning some 57,800m² on Brisbane’s northside.

DEMEX was engaged as a subcontractor by CPB to undertake structural demolition of Queensland Rail buildings on this Brisbane northside site.

Ascot Green by Mirvac is located in Brisbane’s northside. As part of ongoing residential developments, DEMEX was engaged by Mirvac to undertake bulk earthworks, shotcreting, installation of FRP capping beams, stormwater works, and other minor site works for Tower C (Charlton House) of the development, the third tower in the series.

DEMEX was engaged by property developer Iris Capital to undertake the demolition of iconic Niecon Plaza to make way for a new billion dollar mixed use Broadbeach development.

DEMEX was engaged as principal contractor by developer Carlingford Projects to undertake the structural demolition of the the 9 storey highrise located at Garfield Terrace, Surfers Paradise.

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal is located at Hay Point on the Central Coast of Queensland.

Surfers Royale was an iconic four star 15 story Gold Coast residential and holiday apartment block. The block was demolished to make way for a new highrise tower as a development by Parity Property, a privately owned property development business.

DEMEX was engaged by the mill operator to undertake demolition of the crushing house, tank farms, factory workshops and offices, molasses tank, clarification tanks, processing area, sugar storage shed, and tanks. Asbestos removal works also formed part of the project scope.

A demolition undertaken in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, 200 Turbot Street involved deconstruction of two adjoining buildings situated on a rock substructure located over a live rail corridor between Roma Street Station and Central Station, the city’s two busiest train stations.

Batemans Bay Bridge Demolition

DEMEX was engaged by Principal Contractor John Holland to undertake the demolition of the $274 million Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project, which involved removal of the old Batemans Bay Bridge that spanned the Clyde River built and completed by Department of Main Roads in 1956.

DEMEX was engaged by LOGOS Property Group to undertake the Wacol Logistics Hub project and commenced the significant civil and demolition works as principal contractor in March 2021.

The Queensland Government engaged DEMEX as principal contractor on this project to demolish the old Roma Hospital, the primary healthcare facility in Roma.
