Guillaume Botha

Chief Financial Officer

Guillaume was appointed Chief Financial Officer. in 2022. In this role, he draws from over a decade of experience in corporate financial management through previous roles in the resources sector. Guillaume works with DEMEX’s Executive and Senior Leadership teams to support prudent financial management of the business’ commercial activities. Guillaume holds a Masters degree in Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Macushla Collins

Business Development Manager

Macushla commenced in the role of Business Development Manager in September of 2021. Her prior experience extends to business development for professional services firms, together with development of several businesses from start up and degree qualifications in arts, management, and commercialisation. Macushla works with the Senior Leadership team to develop and implement DEMEX’s strategy in the business’ areas of growth.

Kyle Burkhardt

Operations Manager

Kyle is an experienced Operations Manager and is responsible for the allocation of all DEMEX’s plant, equipment, and resources. While not assigned a specific project role, Kyle supports project delivery, working closely with our project managers and site crews to ensure all required resources are in full working order and available for mobilisation to projects. Coming from a background of hands on project management, Kyle has an excellent understanding of the requirements for managing DEMEX’s growing fleet of civil and demolition plant and equipment.

Matt Baker

People & Culture Manager

With a background in construction and Bachelor of Business (Human Resources), Matt plays a key role in the development and implementation of DEMEX’s resourcing strategy. He has oversight for recruitment and retention of staff, as well as administering company policies and practices. As a key member of the Senior Leadership team he ensures the people component is considered appropriately in DEMEX’s strategic decision making.

A growth mindset drives people to grow

Employing close to 100 people in permanent roles, from labourers to project managers, our people are engaged on interesting and exciting projects that provide rewarding opportunities to grow their experience, skills, and confidence. Our site teams include project managers, site supervisors, labourers, operators, HSE personnel, drivers, tradesmen, contract managers, and qualified hazmat removal technicians. The office-based team works in finance, marketing, estimating, business development, and administration roles, and supports project delivery. DEMEX also operates a fully equipped workshop with mechanical fitters and tradesmen to service and maintain our significant fleet of plant, equipment, and machinery.

Many of our people are long term employees. Additionally, the majority of our project delivery team are licensed asbestos workers and ticketed to operate multiple machines
