Â
Understanding that new developments in safety practices are continually emerging, we remain abreast of industry developments and research produced in Australia and internationally by key asbestos-related organisations, such as Safe Work Australia, The Mesothelioma Centre, and the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency. Our people receive training refreshers in keeping with regulatory requirements to ensure they understand safe work practices with respect to removal of asbestos and hazardous materials. This training, together with robust systems and detailed project planning form the basis of our overall approach to safely removing asbestos and hazardous materials during project delivery.
Â

- Ensure our team has relevant certifications for friable and non-friable asbestos removal and renew these as required
- Carry out annual health monitoring for asbestos removal employees
- Ensure mask fit tests are conducted for each employee involved in removal works.
- Have only trained employees engaged in asbestos removal on demolition projects
- Have sourced independent assessment of the asbestos present on a project
