Project Scope
The first stage of the strip out project commenced on the Allara House building in late 2020.
DEMEX had to construct a full height rubbish chute for the removal of debris from each level. Various slab penetrations were created to facilitate new lifts and stairwell forming part of the refurbishment design. Part of the project also included demolition of a suspended walkway three stories up between 2 of the buildings.
Project Highlights
One of the levels of Allara Hose was a high security are with the ceilings and walls constructed with reinforced steel and signal blocking materials
